We carry fine violins, violas, cellos and double basses by Samuel Shen Musical Instruments. Our team works directly with Samuel Shen to bring the best of his instruments directly to our customers.
Violins range from $375-$2,500 in a variety of levels and sizes. Most are either Stradivari or Guarneri copies.
Samuel Shen has made a major commitment to the needs of violists, utilizing several patterns by Stradiveri, Tertis, and Stapely. We offer standard and odd sizes in all quality levels. Violas range from $400-$3000.
Shen cellos are found in the hands of orchestra professionals, as well as in hundreds of school programs and rental fleets across the USA and Canada. We carry cellos from $500-$4000.
Basses by Shen are the leading bass sold in the US in the sub-$10,000 range. We carry basses from $1,100 to $12,000.

No appointment is necessary, but it is helpful to call ahead to make sure we can have the appropriate instruments ready for you to look at.
Ophelia Carbon Fiber and Ophelia Hybrid bows are made specially for us, utilizing our own specifications. They feature excellent fittings and windings, and outperform their conservative price tag.
We also carry a variety of wood bows, Coda carbon fiber bows, and Glasser and K. Holtz fiberglass bows.
Bassists, you'll get a kick out of the tone of this highly portable bass. They work great for casual gigs, and are being played by some of today's top players.
